The Serra Club Of Albuquerque has had many successes in it's long history and currently has several on-going activities in support of it's mission. Some of these include:

The Annual Priest Appreciation Dinner.

The Priest Appreciation Dinner is now in it's 7th year and is held in the May /June time frame on a bi-annual basis. The dinner is held to raise funds for the Seminarians but primarily to support and thank the Priests of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe for their service to the Catholics through out the Archdiocese. The dinner features a guest speaker for the evening and has been a great success to help our mission of supporting the seminarians. Guest speakers through the years have featured nationally known Catholic leaders and has included Dr. Scott Hahn.

Golfing with the Padre

Last October 12th was the date for the first Golfing with the Padre event. It was a great day of golf and visiting at Tanoan Country Club. A total of 136 golfers honored the priests who were able to attend the event. Later in the evening over 150 people gathered to award prizes and recap the days events.  As with all Serra events the benefit is funds to support our seminarians as teh work towards their goal of ordination. It will become a bi-annual event opposite the Priest Appreciation Dinner.  Our next Golf Tournament will be October 10, 2011.  Please plan to join us if you missed the first one.
